Erasmus Darwin was born on July 17th, 1816 in Ohio. Erasmus Darwin's father was David STANTON Dr. and his mother was Lucy Latham NORMAN. His maternal grandparents were Thomas NORMAN Esq. and Milly (Milly). He had two brothers and four sisters, named Edwin Mcmasters, Theophilus, Lucretia, Lucy, Oella and Pamphilia. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 30 in 1846.General Notes
