Thomas Rucker 
Thomas was born in 1683 in Gloucester, England.1 Thomas' father was Peter Rucker and his mother was Elizabeth Fielding. His paternal grandparents were Ambrose Levi Rucker and Elizabeth Ann Beauchamp; his maternal grandparents were Edward Fielding and Elizabeth Maria Polteney. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John, James, Ephraim, William, Mary and Margaret. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 80 on June 11th, 1763 in Brumfield Parish, Culpeper, Virginia.1 General Notes
In 1730, Thomas Rucker patented 876 acres adjacent to John Rucker and Thomas Jackson. There was, in 1704, a mention of a Peter Ruckett in the land patents.
