William Garland was born on March 13th, 1912 in Beech Grove, Greene Co, AR. William Garland's father was William Walter Robinson and his mother was Eva May Breckenridge. His maternal grandparents were William Lee Breckenridge and Martha Roena Roberts. He had a sister named Fannie Inez. He was the younger of the two children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Rufus Leon, Troy James, Martha Eileen, Mary Maxine and Essie Lorene.General Notes
