John Muriton Elgin Robertson 
John was born in 1499 in Strowan, Perthshire, Scotland.1 John's father was 5th Baron of Strowan Alexander Robertson and his mother was Lady Isabel Margaret Stewart. His paternal grandparents were Robert DeAtholia and Margaret Stewart; his maternal grandparents were Earl of Atholl and Buchan John Hearty Stewart and Eleanor Sinclair. He was an only child. He died at the age of 41 in 1540 in Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland.1 General Notes
