William Richard Roberts 
William Richard was born on February 22nd, 1869 in Orange Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1880.1 William Richard's father was John Wesley Roberts and his mother was Josephine M. Parker. His paternal grandparents were John B. Roberts and Winnifred Umsted. He had a brother and two sisters, named John D., Rosa J. and Martha H.. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 78 on March 8th, 1947 in Reems Creek, Buncombe Co, NC. He was buried on March 10th, 1947 in Walnut Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hillsborough, Orange Co, NC.1 General Notes
