William Bachelor Roberts 
William Bachelor was born in 1830 in Haywood Co, TN and his baptism took place in Census 1880.1 William Bachelor's father was Elisha Roberts and his mother was Mary A. Wilson. His paternal grandparents were William Roberts and Lucy Jane Umstead. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Harvey A., David Elisha, Rebecca Ann and Judith. He was the third oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Wesley H. and Elizabeth Winnifred Eleanor Jane.1 General Notes
