William Roberts 
William was born in 1840 in Caswell Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1880.1 William's father was Richard Roberts and his mother was Lydia Unknown. His paternal grandparents were John Roberts and Salley Tapley. He had two brothers and a sister, named Francis, John L. and Reana. He was the youngest of the four children.1 General Notes
