Virginia Sue's father was Baxter Roberts and her mother was Cassie C. Brookshire. Her paternal grandparents were Dr. John Mason Roberts and Catherine Phillippi. She had four brothers and a sister, named Richard Clyde, Dennis Baxter, Edward R., Oliver and Dory Dona.General Notes
