Ora Roberts 
Ora was born on February 11th, 1902 in Orange Co, NC. Ora's father was William Raney 'Billy' Roberts and her mother was Mary Thomas Rountree. Her paternal grandparents were David Roberts and Nancy Ann Hawkins. She had five brothers and three sisters, named David Thomas, William Raney, John Vance, Jeff Lee, Clyde Taylor, Cora Elizabeth, Annie and Mary Ruth. She was the youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 88 on December 29th, 1990 in Durham, Durham Co, NC.General Notes
