Laura Ellen Roberts 
Laura Ellen was born on January 12th, 1883 in Johnson Co, TN.1 Laura Ellen's father was Dr. John Mason Roberts and her mother was Catherine Phillippi. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Roberts and Nancy Uranea Robinson. She had five brothers named Edward D., John Mason, Robert, Graham 'Gray' B. and Baxter. She was the second youngest of the six children. She had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Madison Mcl. 'Mack', Millard Fillmore, Albert W., Amanda E. 'Callie', Julia A. C., Martha S. and Mary E.. She died at the age of 76 on March 26th, 1959 in Johnson Co, TN. She was buried in Shoun Cemetery, Doe Valley, Johnson Co, TN.1 1 General Notes
