James Monroe Roberts 
James Monroe was born in 1835 in Henry Co, TN and his baptism took place in Census 1860.1 James Monroe's father was William Roberts and his mother was Elizabeth Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Charles Roberts and Frances Langston. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Samuel B., George Wesley, Ryland, John N., Henry H., Hannah, Rhoda and Jane. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He had a half-brother named Thomas N. Wilson.1 General Notes
