James Roberts 
James was born in Johnston Co, NC.1 James' father was Charles Roberts and his mother was Mary Langston. His paternal grandparents were Henry Roberts and Elizabeth. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Jeremiah, Abner, William, Charles, John, Anne, Mary, Lucy and Eleanor. He died on July 15th, 1820.1 General Notes
