Cleon Thaxton Roberts 
Cleon Thaxton was born on September 24th, 1903 in Orange Co, NC. Cleon Thaxton's father was William Thomas Roberts and his mother was Eugenia F. Laws. His paternal grandparents were Francis 'Frank' Albert Roberts and Elizabeth 'Bette' Ann Crabtree. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Leon Baxton, William Conrad, Preston Daniel, Frederick Reid, Thomas Franklin, Lizzie L., Beatrice L., Zula Grey and Mabel. He died at the age of 84 on October 19th, 1987. He was buried in Walnut Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hillsborough, Orange Co, NC.General Notes
