Bessie Allen Roberts 
Bessie Allen was born on December 13th, 1904. Bessie Allen's father was Joseph Allen Roberts and her mother was Minnie Lee Roberts. Her paternal grandparents were William Henry Roberts and Francis Price; her maternal grandparents were Charles Allen Roberts and Nancy Jane Price. She had three brothers and a sister, named Paul Martin, Charles William Wallace, Joseph Price and Gladys. She was the second oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 80 on September 30th, 1985. She was buried in Mount Herman Baptist Church Cemetery, Rockingham Co, NC.General Notes
