In the 1920 Green County Census for Upper Brush Creek, Albert Pepper, age 57, is head of household #254. His wife, Liddie, is 49. Their son, Harrison, age 31 is living in the household. He is divorced.
Albert may have married or been involved with Bettie Skaggs Warren. According to William T. Smith in his Thompson book, Bettie was accused of having adultery with him when she was divorced in 1884.
