William S. Peace

William was born in 1809 in Kentucky.¹ William's father was Joseph Peace and his mother was Nancy Skaggs. His maternal grandparents were William (Squire) Skaggs and Mary Simpson. He had a brother and a sister, named Robert and Priscilla. He was the second oldest of the three children.
