Matthew Pate

Matthew's christening took place on February 20th, 1686.¹   Matthew's father was Thomas Pate and his mother was Elizabeth Early.  His paternal grandparents were Edward Pate and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Jeremiah Early and Elizabeth Buford. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, William, Mary and Elizabeth.
