Mary (Polly) Pate 
Mary, known as Polly, was born on May 14th, 1793 in Bedford Co., Virginia.1 Polly's father was Benjamin Allen Pate and her mother was Judith Pate. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Pate and Mary Allen; her maternal grandparents were Jeremiah Pate and Mary (Polly). She had two brothers and two sisters, named Allen, Paten, Mildred and Nancy. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 83 on October 27th, 1876 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 -
