John Owen was born on July 9th, 1876 in Coryell Co, Texas, USA. John Owen's father was Charles Augustus Parks and his mother was Rebecca Leona Pinkerton. His maternal grandparents were David Alexander Pinkerton and Rebecca Akin. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Jesse Edwin, William Alfred, Albert H, Charlie, Flemmon Alexander, Cloyes Alvin, Minnie Alice, Hallie Augusta, Eva Leona and Audie Lena. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 1 on September 28th, 1877 in Coryell City, Coryell Co, Texas, USA.-
