Temperance Parish 
Temperance was born on April 9th, 1811 in Granville Co, NC and her baptism took place in Census 1880.1 Temperance's father was John Sihon Parish and her mother was Celia Roberts. Her maternal grandparents were Jeremiah Roberts and Temperance Unknown. She had four brothers and a sister, named Claiborne 'Clayborn', Jeremiah S., Brodie, George Washington and Mary Louise. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 81 on November 17th, 1892 in Hickory Co, MO. She was buried in Fisher Cemetery, Preston, Hickory Co, MO.1 1 General Notes
