George Columbus Parish 
George Columbus was born on February 9th, 1877 in Carroll Co, TN and his baptism took place in Census 1930. George Columbus' father was William Thomas Parish and his mother was Elizabeth Paralee Hall. His paternal grandparents were Claiborne 'Clayborn' Parish and Judith J. Butler. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William Claiborn, Ernest C., Lucy A., Sandy Rovertie, Julia Elizabeth and Hassie J.. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 94 on March 26th, 1971 in Carroll Co, TN. He was buried in Mount Comfort Cemetery, Carroll Co, TN.General Notes
