Lex Thomas Painter 
Lex Thomas was born on August 1st, 1884 in Person Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1920. Lex Thomas' father was William 'Bill' J. Painter and his mother was Mary Elizabeth 'Mollie Bet' Yarbrough. His maternal grandparents were Thomas 'Tom' Yarbrough and Sarah Ann Rhew. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William Weldon, John 'Jack' Dalton, Nora S., Lonie Katie, Susan Ann and Della. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died due to Lung Cancer at the age of 65 on December 25th, 1949 in Mount Tirzah, Person Co, NC. He was buried on December 26th, 1949 in Painter Family Cemetery, Person Co, NC.General Notes
