Cyrid was born in 0927 in Uppsala, Sweden.1 Cyrid's father was King of Sweden Olof (Mitkg) Bjornsson and her mother was Ingeberg Thrandsdottir. Her paternal grandparents were King of Uppsala Bjorn (The Old) Eriksson and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Earl of Sula Thrando of Sula and <Unknown>. She had a brother and two sisters, named The Strong, Gunnhild and Gyrithe. She was the second youngest of the four children.-
