Pearl Nelson 
Pearl was born in 1901 in Kentiucky.1 Pearl's father was George A Nelson and her mother was Ophelia Shirley. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Nelson and Susan Childers. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Newton A, George L, Frona Blanch and Rosa B. She was the third oldest of the five children.-
