Samuel Fountain Nance 
Samuel Fountain was born on January 25th, 1879 in Rockingham Co, NC and his baptism took place in Death Fact.1 Samuel Fountain's father was Addison Toplady Nance and his mother was Mary A. Cobb. His paternal grandparents were Fountaine Nance and Jemina Vincent Grant. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Ashley Johnson, James Crawford, George Lindsey, Archibald Addison 'Archie', Delaware W. 'Dell', Mary Belle, Maggie Lou, Mattie Matilda and Jesse May. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 54 on June 2nd, 1933 in High Point, Guilford Co, NC. He was buried on June 4th, 1933 in Oakwood Cemetery, High Point, Guilford Co, NC.1 General Notes
