Ruth Valonia was born on December 15th, 1918. Ruth Valonia's father was John Benton NORMAN and her mother was Crimmolia Florence MITCHELL. Her paternal grandparents were James Gideon NORMAN Jr. and Lucy Catherine SCOTT. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Joseph Franklin, Elmer Dudley, James Randolph, Virginia Elizabeth, Agnes and Anna Catherine. She was the second youngest of the seven children.
