Mary Ross NORMAN 
Mary Ross was born in 1798. Mary Ross' father was George NORMAN and her mother was Sally (Sally). Her paternal grandparents were William NORMAN and Mary Ross SHEPPARD. She had two brothers and three sisters, named William Sheppard, Thomas A., Selina Shirley, Sarah Ann and Ann (Nancy) Mitchell. She died at the age of 39 on October 9th, 1837 in Died at sea. She was buried in Cenotaph In Rose Hill Cem., Macon, GA..General Notes
Lost at sea in the shipwreck of the steamboat "Home". Body was never recovered.
Oliver & Mary's children were raised by her sister & her husband: Selina Shirley Norman & her husband Washington Poe.
