William Wayne Murphy 
William Wayne was born on May 14th, 1849 in Rutherford County TN. William Wayne's father was John Murphy and his mother was Elizabeth R Parrish. His paternal grandparents were Ezekiel Murphy and Martha Smith. He had two brothers and three sisters, named James Knox Polk, George Mifflin Dallas, Martha Caroline, Sallie and C. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 66 on April 12th, 1916 in Rutherford County TN. He was buried in Evergreen Cemetery Murfreesboro TN.-
