Saint Maria Monamacha (Anastasia) 
Maria was born in 1032 in Constantinople, Byzantine Empire.1 Maria's father was Constantine of Constantinople IX and her mother was Helena Skleraina. Her paternal grandparents were Theodocius Monomachus and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Basileios Skleros and Pulcheria Argyropoulina. She was an only child. She died at the age of 35 in November 1067.1 General Notes
