John Maxwell

John was born about 1573 in Nithsdale, Dumfrieshire, Scotland. John's father was William Maxwell and his mother was Catherine Kerr. His maternal grandparents were Mark Kerr and Helen Leslie. He had two brothers named William and Robert. He was the oldest of the three children. He died in 1631 in Scotland.
