Dorothy's father was Alvah Walker Martin and her mother was Pansy B. Hampton. Her maternal grandparents were James Harris Hampton and Rebecca Catherine Klyce. She had a brother and a sister, named Alvah Walker and Catherine Rebecca.General Notes
