John Mainwaring 
John was born in 1352 in Middlewich, Cheshire, England.1 John's father was William Mainwaring and his mother was Elizabeth Leycester. His paternal grandparents were William Mainwaring of Peover and Margery de Davenport; his maternal grandparents were Nicholas Leycester and Mary Mobberley. He had two brothers and a sister, named William, Randle and Emma. He was the oldest of the four children.-
