Miles Pinckney was born on July 11th, 1846 in Southport,Maury Co.,TN. Miles Pinckney's father was Miles Pinckney MURPHY and his mother was Eleanor Ja Cynthia MACK. His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Green Murphy and Mary "Polly" MACK. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William Nathaniel, Robert Constantine, Thomas C., Infant, Mary J. and Sarah Constantine Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 79 on June 25th, 1926 in Maury Co.,TN. He was buried in 1926 in Rose Hill Cemetery,Columbia,Maury Co.,TN.General Notes
