Mary "Polly", known as Polly, was born on May 1st, 1784. Polly's father was Capt. Turner H. MOREHEAD Sr. and her mother was Ann RANSDELL. Her paternal grandparents were Capt. Charles MOREHEAD Sr. and Mary Norman TURNER. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Gustavus, Turner, Armistead Ransdell, Henry, James, Peggy, Nancy and Sally. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Charles Robert, John Hooe, Oscar Bell, Susan Hooe, Elizabeth Ann and Mary Hewitt. She died in Springfield, IL..-
