Charles MOREHEAD Jr. 
Charles was born on February 3rd, 1762 in Fauquier Co., VA.. Charles' father was Capt. Charles MOREHEAD Sr. and his mother was Mary Norman TURNER. His maternal grandparents were James TURNER Sr. and Kerenhappuch Norman. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Turner H., Armistead, James, Presley M., Jenny, Carey and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 66 on November 20th, 1828 in Logan Co., KY..General Notes
Charles Morehead served as Sergeant in Lee's famous legion, Virginia troops, and was at the surrender of Yorktown. He went to Kentucky and was a member of the Kentucky State Senate.
