William Lyon 
William was born about 1540 in Glamis Castle, Forfar, Angusshire, Scotland. William's father was 6th Lord Glamis John Lyon and his mother was Janet Keith. His paternal grandparents were 5th Lord Glamis John Lyon and Janet Douglas. He had three brothers and three sisters, named 7th Lord Glamis John, Richard, Thomas, Elizabeth, Margaret and Jean. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died on September 7th, 1624 in Little Stanmore, Middlesex, England.-
