James Allan Lewis 
James Allan was born in 1908 in Danville, Danville (Independent City), VA. James Allan's father was Bernard Graves Lewis and his mother was Bessie T. Hopper. His maternal grandparents were James Terrell Hopper and Annie Ada M. Landrum. He had a brother and two sisters, named Bernard Graves, Virginia B. and M. Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 96 on December 8th, 2004 in Reidsville, Rockingham Co, NC. He was buried on December 11th, 2004 in Mountain View Cemetery, NC.General Notes
