John Leeper 
John was born about 1833 in Kentucky. John's father was Andrew Neal Leeper and his mother was Elizabeth "Betsy" Givens. His maternal grandparents were Eleazar Givens and Jane "Jenny" Robertson. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Aurelius, Eleaser, Andrew W., Samuel M., Sarah D., Elega, Martha and Emily F.. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.General Notes
