John V Leeke 
John V was born in 1450 in Langford, Nottinghamshire, England.1 John V's father was William Leek and his mother was Catherine Chaworth. His paternal grandparents were John Leek and Alicia Grey. He had a brother named Thomas of Kirk Hallam. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 47 on July 24th, 1497.2 General Notes

COVENANTS between Henry Foliambe, sen., of Walton, "squier," and John Leeke, sen., of Sutton-in-le-Dale, squier, for the marriage of Godfrey Foliambe, son and heir of the said Henry (or in the event of his death to Thomas Foliambe, second son of the same), with Katherine, dau. of the said John Leeke, or (in the event of her death) with Muriel, second dau. of the same, and for the marriage of John Leeke, son and heir of the said John, with Jane, dau. of the said Henry Foliambe.
