Edwin Foy Landis 
Edwin Foy was born on February 26th, 1907 in Dysartsville, Mcdowell Co, NC. Edwin Foy's father was Thomas Bratcher Landis and his mother was Ida Delphinia Goforth. His maternal grandparents were James Marion Goforth and Harriet Anna Giles. He had three brothers and a sister, named William, Joseph Crawford, Malcolm Key and Lillie Mae. He was the youngest of the five children. He died due to Ruptured aortic aneurysm at the age of 61 on February 29th, 1968 in Charlotte, Mecklenburg Co, NC. He was buried on March 2nd, 1968 in Oakwood Cemetery, Statesville, Iredell Co, NC.General Notes
