Kittie (Kittie) 
Kittie, known as Kittie, was born on June 8th, 1814 in Lincoln Co., GA.. Kittie's father was David GLAZE and her mother was Susannah NORMAN. Her maternal grandparents were William NORMAN and Euphany HARRISON. She had six brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas Grant, Twin Boy, William Dayton, Joseph W., Henry Harvey, John Milton, Sidney Norman, Euphany Harris, Delia Seward, Julia Marie, Eleanor Mercer, Elizabeth Matilda and Susannah Harriet (Susan). She was the fourth youngest of the fourteen children.General Notes
Sarah & William had a very volatile marriage. She separated from him several times, the last being just prior to the Civil War. Permelia Glaze, her niece, wrote to J.R. Glaze in Texas in a letter dated 11/14/1876. "Aunt Kittie & 2 daughters
are living in a house on our plantation. She left her husband during the war and has never seen him since."
