Jesse JENKINS 
Jesse was born on April 5th, 1765 in Union Co., S. C.. Jesse's father was William JENKINS Jr. and his mother was Catherine TIDWELL. His paternal grandparents were William JENKINS Sr. and Mary BALLENGER. He had seven brothers and two sisters, and also four siblings of unknown gender, named Charles G., Randle, William, Samuel, Sebenlon Simon, Job, Thomas, Catherine, Elizabeth, Panalape, Rolly, Lusha and Mearda. He was the fifth oldest of the fourteen children.-
