Elmore 'Van' Houston 
Elmore 'Van' was born on December 5th, 1905 in Pond Creek, Grant Co, OK and his baptism took place in Census 1920.1 Elmore 'Van''s father was Andrew Black 'Andy' Houston and his mother was Leuna Iona Dewhitt. His maternal grandparents were William Ashbury Dewhitt and Lydia Anna Wall. He had a brother and a sister, named Otto Weldon and Capitola Marie. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 78 in November 1984 in Pueblo, Pueblo Co, CO.1 General Notes
