Basell Holbrook

Basell was born in 1602 in St. John the Baptist, Glastonbury, Somerset, England and her baptism took place on March 25th, 1602 in , Glastonbury, Somerset, England.¹ Basell's father was William Holbrook and her mother was Edith Saunders. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Holbrook and Constance Thayer. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, William, Joan, Elizabeth and Rebecca. She was the youngest of the seven children.
