Peter W. Hoke 
Peter W. was born in April 1871 in Shelby, Cleveland Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1880. Peter W.'s father was Peter Philo Hoke and his mother was Faithy Ann Goforth. His maternal grandparents were William Clayton Goforth and Jane Christina Houser. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas William, Robert C., Benjamin Logan, Sarah Jane, Clara J., Cora Harriett and Caroline B. 'Callie'.
