Mattie Blanche was born in June 1898 in Bastrop Co, TX and her baptism took place in Census 1910. Mattie Blanche's father was Jefferson Davis Hemphill and her mother was Lula Cloud. Her maternal grandparents were Samuel Owen Cloud and Martha Washington Roberts. She had two sisters named Robbie Roy and Mary L.. She was the youngest of the three children.General Notes
