Robert Hastings 
Robert was born in 1460 in Fenwick, Yorkshire, England.1 Robert's father was Hugh Hastinges and his mother was Anne Gascoigne. His maternal grandparents were William Gascoigne and Margaret Clarelle. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Charles, Edward, Brian, John, George, Isabel, Muriel, Jane, Margaret, Anne, Elizabeth and Catherine. He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children.-
