Reuben Crawford, Sr. was born in 1793 in Fauquier County, Virginia.1 Reuben Crawford, Sr.'s father was Jesse Henson and his mother was Elizabeth Crawford. His paternal grandparents were Robert Hanson and Margaret. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William, James, George Washington, Thomas, Jesse, Jr., Sarah, Catherine, Margaret and Jane. He died at the age of 55 on November 20th, 1848 in Carroll County, Georgia.General Notes
