Sir Alexander Hamilton 
Sir Alexander was born about 1614 in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. Sir Alexander's father was 1st Earl of Abercorn Sir James Hamilton and his mother was Marion Boyd. His paternal grandparents were 1st Baron Paisley Claude Hamilton and Margaret Seton. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Earl Abercorn James, Baron Hamilton Claude, Baronet Sir William, Baronet Sir George, Anne, Isobel, Lucrece and Margaret. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died on May 4th, 1669 in Standrow Holborn, London, Middlesex, England.-
