Robert Hamilton 
Robert was born about 1758 in Leacock Twp, Lancaster Co, PA. Robert's father was William Hamilton and his mother was Jean McIlvaine. His maternal grandparents were Andrew McIlvaine and Sarah Finley. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John, William, Hugh, James, Ann and Nancy. He was the youngest of the seven children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, Robert, Mary, Margaret and Nancy. He died in 1827.General Notes
